Dmytro Dontsov (1883-1973) - ideologue of Ukrainian nationalism, literary critic, publicist, philosopher, politician, one of the first leaders of the Union for the Liberation of Ukraine, head of the Ukrainian State Telegraph Agency, which became the historical predecessor of the modern Ukrainian national news agency "Ukrinform". The works of D. Dontsov, through which the idea of an independent Ukrainian state runs, became fundamental for whole generations of Ukrainian nationalists. A memorial plaque to Dmytro Dontsov has been installed on the facade of the "Ukrinform" building. Its unveiled on January 24, 2019.
