Sakura is a famous symbol of Japan and Japanese culture. These beautiful trees usually bloom in Kyiv in late April - early May. The largest sakura alleys are located in the Kyoto park on the Lisovyi masyv, the Natalka park on Obolon, the botanical garden named after M. Grishko on Pechersk. A small alley of about ten trees planted in two rows is located near the Church of Saints Borys and Hlib in the Liko-Grad microdistrict on Teremky-2.
